Does iNat Publish Pro work with Lightroom CC?
Not yet. iNat Publish Pro is built for Lightroom Classic only. Lightroom CC uses a plugin model that does not support the metadata integration required.
Will it overwrite my existing Lightroom keywords?
No. The plugin adds new keywords and hierarchy data; it does not remove or overwrite your existing keyword structure.
Is my iNaturalist data safe? Do you store my credentials?
Your API token is stored locally in Lightroom plugin preferences. The plugin talks directly to iNaturalist and does not send your credentials to inat-tools servers.
What happens when I add new observations on iNaturalist?
Run sync again. New observations since the last sync are detected and matched without reprocessing already-matched records unless requested.
How does auto-matching work?
Matches are scored with timestamp and GPS proximity. The top score above your threshold is selected, and threshold defaults to 55%.
Can I undo a sync?
Yes. Synced keywords are standard Lightroom keywords and can be removed manually or in bulk with Lightroom keyword management tools.
